Bringing a personal vision to life through art is one of my favorite parts of being an artist. Each commission is a collaboration—I will guide you through the process, from initial ideas to the final painting, ensuring the artwork reflects your vision while carrying my signature style.

Pricing.

I price my commissions as follows: Base Price of the Painting ($1.50/sq in) + Commission Fee ($300) = Final Price per painting

For example a base price for a 40” x 30” landscape= $1,800

(Base/Retail price) + $300 (Commission Fee) = $2,100

I collect 50% of payment after the client approves the final design and then the remaining 50% after the painting is completed.

This price would not include shipping fees. The following are approximate shipping rates for U.S. purchases:

48” x 36” = $200-$350

40” x 30” = $150-$300

36” x 36” = $150-$300

30” x 30” and smaller: under $150

*A painting larger than 48” x 48” or 48” x 36” may be subject to courier/white glove delivery.

Process

Measure and Design. I am happy to help my clients determine the size and type of canvas for their piece depending on their space. Clients typically gather photos of the subject matter they would like me to paint. As they collect, they note for me what part of the photo is striking to them- whether it be the colorway, an element of the photo they want enhanced, the chunky clouds, etc. That helps me piece together a final concept with the client so we can get started on the actual painting.

Framing. Framing the commission would be the client’s preference. Framing would be an additional expense beyond the pricing structure already shared.  

Studies and Final Piece(s). I work on up to two smaller studies and share them with the client to receive feedback. Once we get to a final study the client feels good about, I will begin on the final piece. I make sure to send pictures and videos along the way to ensure we're on the right track.
